MOXI Treats Rosacea
MOXI is designed for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its gentle, fractionated technology makes it safer than more aggressive lasers for conditions like rosacea or reactive skin. However, if you have active rosacea flare-ups or extreme sensitivity, it's important to discuss with your skincare provider.
MOXI Treats Acne & Acne Scars
MOXI is designed for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its gentle, fractionated technology makes it safer than more aggressive lasers for conditions like rosacea or reactive skin. However, if you have active rosacea flare-ups or extreme sensitivity, it's important to discuss with your skincare provider.
If you are acne prone, we recommend starting with the BBL® Forever Clear protocol. Your provider may also recommend combining this treatment with a microneedling treatment for even better results.
When will you see your MOXI results?
Results vary based on your treatment level and skin goals:
- Immediately after treatment: Your skin may appear red, similar to a mild sunburn.
- Within the first 24-48 hours: You may notice tiny micro-dots (“mendz”) where the laser was applied. These areas will darken and feel rough as your skin heals.
- Days 3-5: The mendz will naturally slough off, revealing fresh, rejuvenated skin beneath.
Many patients notice a brighter, smoother complexion after just one session, with continued improvement over time.
How does MOXI compare to BBL Heroic?
MOXI is a gentler, non-ablative laser treatment that requires minimal downtime, making it perfect for preventative skincare and maintenance.
- BBL (BroadBand Light) targets redness, pigmentation, and vascular concerns using intense pulsed light (IPL), making it great for rosacea and sun damage.
