What is a thread lift?
Threads is a minimally invasive, in-office treatment that uses dissolvable threads, inserted into the superficial layer of the skin to stimulate collagen production.
Threads are can address the following concerns: Increasing the firmness and elasticity of your skin
- Provides a temporary lift on the areas treated
- Immediate results
- Minimally invasive with little downtime
- Stimulates collagen production
Threads are most commonly used on the face and neck.
Additionally, there is minimal downtime to receiving this treatment. Depending on how many areas are being treated, your treatment time can take anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours and is customized to your specific concerns.
Who are good candidates for thread lifts?
You may be a good candidate if you have:
- Have not had previous facial surgery
- Have good skin quality and texture.
- Have not had neurotoxins or dermal filler injections within the last two weeks.
- Mild to Moderate flat & ptotic cheek tissue (cheeks have fallen creating nasolabial folds).
- Mild to moderate jowling / descent of the lower third of the face o Mild to moderate brow ptosis (droopy eyebrows).
- Mild neck cutaneous bands – patients with platysmal bands or excess skin are not good candidates for the procedure.
- Crepey skin of the area of the face or body being treated.
- Mild to moderate ptosis of the body area being treated (breasts, buttocks) o Mild folding of skin above knees, elbows.
