Microneedling by SkinPen® treatments can give you clear, younger looking skin

For best results, you only need 3-6 treatments depending on your skin type. The exact number of sessions will depend on your aesthetic goals.

Your provider may recommend additional treatments and medical grade skin care products such as skinbetter or skinceuticals to get the best results.

Prior to your treatment, your provider will numb the area to minimize discomfort.

During your treatment you may feel a tingling sensation and light vibration from the microneedling tool. Most patients find the treatment to be relatively painless.

At the end of the treatment you will be given a product called rescue to be used the next few days and has niacinamide, aloe, colloidal oatmeal in it to calm, heal and hydrate the skin.

To prepare for your treatment, you should avoid skin irritation one month prior such as direct sun exposure, sunbathing, or tanning. Additionally, you should:

• Stop the use of irritant topical products 1 week before your treatment. This includes retinol and retinoids.
• Stop the use of Accutane for at least 6 months prior to your treatment.
• Arrive to your appointment with clean skin i.e. no makeup, lotions, perfume, jewelry or other skin products on the area(s) being treated.

The treated area may be pink and mildly inflamed (similar to the appearance of a mild sunburn) for 24-48 hours following your SkinPen microneedling procedure.

You should keep your skin clean from make-up or use of any skin products for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

We recommend waiting for 48 hours following your treatment to resume exercise.

You will start to see some results such as improvement in your skin texture and skin tone within 5-7 days but will continue to improve for up to 3 months.

Your esthetician may recommend a maintenance treatment including a chemical peel in between your treatments to further enhance your results.

The cost of your microneedling treatment starts at $349 per treatment. Most patients need 3 treatments for the best results and offer special pricing for purchase of microneedling packages or 3 or more. We customize each treatment plan to each individual patient.
