Before you get the procedure done, you will need to make sure that you are well prepared. You need to make sure that you are not exposed to the sun for at least six weeks as the exposure can harm your skin and negatively affect your results. You must not tweeze, pluck or wax at least for six weeks prior to the procedure.
Once you are ready for your procedure, your hair will be trimmed slightly. The equipment will then be adjusted to suit your skin and hair color. A cooling gel will be applied on your skin which will help the laser penetrate the skin. Once it is applied, your physician will aim a pulse of light to each target area. After the procedure, you will be given some cooling agents to help ease any discomfort. You will receive the treatment repeatedly until your hair stops growing.
