FormaV Treatment
Vaginal rejuvenation with FormaV promotes collagen restructuring of the vaginal walls and helps to tighten the vaginal canal. FormaV uses radiofrequency energy and localized heat to improve vaginal aesthetics and tightness.
Radiofrequency energy helps to firm lax tissues of the vaginal canal and addresses underlying layers of tissues in order to stimulate vaginal tightening. Noninvasive vaginal rejuvenation promotes the creation of new elastin fibers and collagen while also enhancing the appearance of the labia and surrounding areas
FormaV vaginal rejuvenation is performed as an outpatient procedure. Following vaginal rejuvenation, most patients are able to return home immediately. To begin vaginal rejuvenation, the length of the vaginal canal will carefully be measured. This is to ensure that the FormaV wand is not inserted any further than necessary during treatment. A topical anesthetic will be applied to the treatment areas. Prior to the start of the procedure, a small amount of gel will be applied to the wand to ensure patient comfort.
Once the FormaV wand has been inserted into the vaginal canal, it will be slowly rotated to ensure an even distribution of radiofrequency energy to the vaginal walls. When this radiofrequency energy is delivered to the vaginal walls, it promotes collagen realignment and vaginal contraction. Dr. Sue Kafali will treat the entire length of the vaginal canal evenly to ensure the best results possible.
The overall procedure time for vaginal rejuvenation will vary patient to patient and depend on the exact treatment plan when you meet with Dr. Kafali during your consultation.

He completed residency training in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Wayne State/Detroit Medical Center and a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Beeson Cosmetic Surgery Institute. He has been in practice since 2001, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and has published peer-reviewed research in facial plastic surgery and skin rejuvenation.
