At Chicago Aesthetics Surgery & Med Spa, we offer lip filler injections using approved dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid to enhance the shape of the lips. Lip fillers can help add natural fullness, add definition and shape to your lips.
Lip filler injections are a cosmetic treatment that adds volume and shape to your lips. A soft gel made of hyaluronic acid (a substance your body naturally produces) is carefully injected into your lips. This enhances their size, definition, and overall appearance. The results can look subtle or bold, depending on your goals.
Lip filler injections should only be performed by a trained cosmetic physician or highly experienced aesthetic Nurse.

What is
Lip Augmentation with filler?
Lip fillers such as Revanesse Versa, Restylane Kysse® or Juvederm Volbella® may be injected into the lips. Your injector may recommend a certain filler to acheive your goals. Lip filler injections can have the following benefits:

Restylane® Kysse
Restylane Kysse is a hyaluronic acid (HA) lip filler designed to enhance lip volume and minimize the appearance of fine lines above the upper lip with a natural look and feel.
Juvederm®
- Juvederm Volbella is used to treat and soften fine loves above the lips.
- Juvederm Ultra XC or Juvederm Volbella XC is used to plump, and add volume to the lips

Revanesse is a hyaluronic acid (HA) lip filler that provides a natural, long-lasting result.

Following your lip enhancement, you should avoid the following for at least 24 hours post treatment:
- Excessive sun exposure or heat
- Strenuous exercise
- Applying product or makeup to the treated area
How Much Does
Lip Filler Cost
The cost of your Lip filler injection treatment at our office will start at $700 to $900 per treatment, depending on the product used as well as the experience of your injector. Most patients start with one lip filler syringe. A follow-up session after two weeks may be scheduled if a more dramatic look is desired.

He completed residency training in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Wayne State/Detroit Medical Center and a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Beeson Cosmetic Surgery Institute. He has been in practice since 2001, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and has published peer-reviewed research in facial plastic surgery and skin rejuvenation.

How long do lip fillers last?
How soon will I see my lip injection results?
Following your lip filler injection, treatment, you can expect to have some redness and swelling of the lips. You can expect 1-3 days of redness, swelling. Your final results should be seen in 2 weeks following your treatment.
Do lip fillers hurt?
Are lip fillers safe?
There are some possible side effects including bruising, swelling, and redness in the treated areas. These side effects should go away within a couple of weeks.
If lip fillers need to be removed due to incorrect placement, filler migration (movement of filler outside the injected area), Hylenex may be used to dissolve the filler.
