What is a
brow lift?
As we age, our brows get tired from repeated muscle movement and may begin to droop. A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift or browplasty, is a surgical procedure performed at FaceSculpt to lift and rejuvenate the eyebrows and forehead area. It aims to address sagging or drooping eyebrows, forehead wrinkles, frown lines, and forehead creases.
During a brow lift, Dr. Vagotis will make incisions typically either at or behind the hairline, depending on the specific technique used and the desired outcome.
The underlying forehead muscles and tissues are then repositioned and tightened to elevate the eyebrows and smooth out forehead wrinkles. Excess skin may be removed, and the remaining skin is carefully re-draped before closing the incisions.
